Shira's Moose

When I was in Maine for college, I saw quite a few Eastern subspecies of Moose (Alces alces). The moose picture above is from Pingree Park Colorado (June 2011) and are the Shira's subspecies.

How does your garden grow?

We have been working on our garden for about a month now, and it is looking great. We were even able to pick some squash today. We will surely be sharing our fruits and veggies with others. Here are some pictures from today.

Squash is starting to pop

Tall Corn.. about 3 feet tall now.

Watermelon... woo!!

Strawberries.. i hope a bird does not steal this one.

Tomato... its making a come back, thought we lost this one for a little while.

Zucchini.. some good stuff will be made with this.

Cucumber... cant wait to make some salads with this.
