When I was in Maine for college, I saw quite a few Eastern subspecies of Moose (
Alces alces). The moose picture above is from Pingree Park Colorado (June 2011) and are the Shira's subspecies.
Check out the short video clip I caught of one bull close to where I was staying!
Here are a few more....One day I saw 6 different bull moose!
